SUMMER SEASON 2021/2022: please register through PlayHQ if you haven't done so already.

Hi All
Please pass this information onto your members. Their assistance is required to ensure that we can continue to provide a quality and safe competition at our venues on Saturdays and the following Covid conditions must be adhered to:
  • Entry and exit points may vary at different venues so please follow instructions at each venue
  • Doors will be open 10 minutes prior to game start time to ensure smooth flow through the Stadium and to adhere to COVID regulations. ENTRANCE DOORS WILL REMAIN LOCKED UNTIL NEXT GAME.
  • The timing schedule is based on a 50 min schedule with 18 minute halves.
  • The following age groups u/8 ,u/10 and u/12 play with size 5 basketballs
  • As per CBA/DHHS guidelines, entry will be limited to one adult parent, carer or guardian per player. Our CBA Courts will have a firm total capacity limit of 50 people . NO ADDITIONAL SPECTATORS
  • Officials, venue staff , coaches and team managers are included in the 50 per court capacity amount.
  • Exiting the Stadium must take place immediately the game concludes to allow the required cleaning before next teams enter.
  • Door entry is either cash or EFTPOS (surcharge applies)
  • Scorers need to supply their own pens
  • Scoresheets to be left on bench for doorperson to collect
  • Score bench (scorers) to wipe down bench with antibacterial wipes provided before leaving please
  • Masks must be worn indoors (not under 12) Please ensure you carry a mask with you at all times unless medically exempt. Players or officials do not need to wear mask while partaking in the game.
  • Players to bring personal water bottles. Fountain to fill bottles ONLY
  • Game balls , teams to supply
  • Players are not permitted to bring basketballs into venues
  • Thank you for your co-operation


As per the Victorian Government – Open Premises Directions for all community sport:

Spectators and participants, including players, coaches and volunteers, of community sport can access both indoor and outdoor spaces within a physical recreation facility without showing vaccination status only if:

  • The space is being operated only for the purpose of conducting a community sport activity;
  • Only participants who are necessary to facilitate the community sporting activity, such as participants, workers, and volunteers, are present; and
  • Spectators comply with public gathering limits , 1 parent, carer or guardian per player and take reasonable steps to maintain 1.5m distance from other such groups.

UNIFORMS: Please return loan uniforms as soon as you receive your assigned playing uniform to your age group coordinator.

I just want to touch base with you as we are still looking at Saturday 6th November as the start of our Basketball Summer Season for 2021/22.
We are certainly hoping that we are able to move forward with this date and that we can get back to basketball in whatever way we are able.

Team Lists are on the website so can you please check your team and make sure that you have registered on PlayHQ before the 30th October 2021 or you wont be able to take to the court, if you are not returning can you please let me know if you haven't already. Thank you.
